Which shipping methods are used by SoldMyDevice?
We are partnered with USPS and the free label provided to you will depend on the size and weight of your device. For USPS postal labels, you can take the prepaid package to any Postal facility.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
No, customers are able to send their devices to us completely free of charge. We send our customers a prepaid package or box for sending the quoted device to us.
Is tracking available for shipping?
Yes. Each SoldMyDevice prepaid mailing kit comes with a tracking number which you can use to track the device while it is being delivered to us. Use this tracking number to see where your phone is at any time.
Do I send just the phone? What about accessories?
We only ask you to send the devices themselves and not any additional accessories that you may have received with the device. The battery must be included. We will happily accept accessories for reuse and recycling, such as headphones and chargers, though this will not have an impact on the quotes we provide.
Which electronic items does SoldMyDevice buy?
Sold My Device buys most Apple products such as iPhones, iPods and iPads. We also buy Android, Windows, and many other smartphones and tablets as well. If you see your item on our website, we buy it! We also have a "Custom Quote" page designed to help you sell things not listed on the site.
What limits are there on item selling?
In general there are no limits how many devices you can sell to us, though there are sometimes limits on the selling of identical item models. Depending on the devices you are selling, we will alert you if you have exceeded the number of identical items you are able to sell. You can add different phones to the same order.
Can I send more devices not originally quoted?
Yes. If you send additional devices in the SoldMyDevice prepaid mailing kit on top of what we have already quoted you for, we will evaluate them and add their value to the original quote. Make sure that we accept additional devices by checking available models on our home page.
Can I sell to you as a bulk seller?

Does SoldMyDevice buy broken/faulty devices?
The quotes we provide are based on the make and model of the device and the condition that it is in, but the quotes we provide are only as accurate as the information we receive from our customers Ã¢â‚¬â€œ they are not a guarantee. Once we receive the device, if we believe that there is a discrepancy between the information provided to us and our own evaluation, we will send you a new quote by email. You have the choice to accept this new quote or not, if you don't accept, we will send the device back to you at our cost. Is the quote I receive a guarantee of the price I will get?

What can cause the price to change?
Item description does not matter what was selected. In that case we will provide a re-quote by email if the phone is a different model and/or is in a different condition to what was stated. You have the choice to accept this new quote or to have the device sent back to you free of charge. In many cases we over pay your original quote if we see the device you sent in is actually better than what you had described.

SoldMyDevice delivers payments by PayPal, checks, check bank deposit to certain banks. The choice is up to you. Paypal payments are delivered within 24 hours of us receiving the device. Checks are mailed out within 24 hours of us receiving the device but may not get to you for 2-4 business days. Bank deposits are made within 24 hours as well the very next business day as long as there are no holidays or it does not fall on a weekend.
How long does my payment take to arrive?
SoldMyDevice has a fast payment turnaround time of 24 hours for PayPal. Once we receive your device, we will evaluate it quickly, and approve the quote and send the money immediately if everything looks good. If your chosen payment method is by check, we will have it posted within 24 hours. Standard delivery times are 3-5 business days.
What is considered a broken or faulty device?
A broken device will be defined by the following terms ; Cracked glass, smudges, chipped glass, bad esn, payment due on phone, bad imei, dead pixels, internal issues, mic problems, vibrator not working or clicking right, sound quality, camera quality, speaker issues, and much more. Please get in touch with customer care for more details if you plan on selling a broken device.
How does the process work?
You can make an order via our website's front page. Select your device and enter a few details and we will send you a quote. If you are happy with the quote, you will then need to enter your address information, and we will then send you an SoldMyDevice prepaid mailing kit. This kit will keep your device completely protected and safe from damage. You then send the device back to us which we will inspect. If the devices are as you described them, we will deliver your payment within 24 hours.
Are the phones wiped out?
When we receive a phone, we are required by law to delete all content off the phone immediately. This can be done usually within the phone by resetting it or we use tools/software to assist us in that matter. We are required to reset all phones once it is sent to us for your privacy and protection. We are not responsible for any device that gets reset and sent back to you if a revision was made. Please make sure you backup your phone and settings prior to sending in the device.
How do I unlock my AT&T Phone?
Unlocking your iPhone from the AT&T network is an easy (and free!) way to increase the amount of your offer by allowing your iPhone to work on other networks. Most AT&T customers are eligible to unlock their old phone after upgrading, but a full list of requirements is available here

What happens next?
- You should receive an email from AT&T within 5 business days with further instructions. You can also check the status of your unlock request here.
- Once your unlock request is approved, use iTunes to Backup and Restore your iPhone before shipping your iPhone to SoldMyDevice.
- If AT&T denies your request, it may be necessary to resubmit your request or contact AT&T Support for further assistance (please note: if you're recently upgraded, you may be required to wait 14 days.) If you are not eligible to unlock your iPhone, SoldMyDevice will still purchase your iPhone at our lower, "locked" offer price.
